Sanremese's pitch is a few minutes' walk from the seafront, in a town that stays mild in winter and, every February, is on every television in Italy. People come here from Milan and Turin, but also from Nice and Monaco, which are closer than Genoa.

Founded in 1904, Sanremese are one of the oldest clubs in Liguria. The Comunale is a small stadium, a few minutes' walk from the sea and the town centre, with the stands close to the pitch: you hear everything, from the bench to the crowd.
